Nortel Wins Gold Effie Marketing Award for Energy Campaign

Nortel has been awarded one of marketing's most presigious awards

- a 2009 Effie Gold Award for its Energy Efficiency marketing campaign that's helping businesses go green and save money on energy costs.

 

Nortel was recognized along with other marketing/brand giants like Apple, Converse, McDonalds & Coca-Cola - see the complete list of 2009 Effie trophy winners here.

 

The Effie Awards, the most prestigious in the marketing industry, were founded in 1968 by the American Marketing Association to recognize the most effective marketing and advertising efforts based on business results. Nortel won the 'David vs. Goliath' category, in which Nortel competed head to head with Cisco by positioning Nortel network solutions as being up to 40% more energy efficient.
