SIP Gateway issue

We are unable to configure our BCM400 to call through a Skip2PBX gateway. The problem arrises because the BCM SIP out put includes the 'phone-context=' message. We have two other switches, a communigate and a trixbox that work with any issues.

The BCM out is like this; SIP:2020;phone-context=BCM400@192.168.1.1 which gets set through the gateway as +44207???????;phone-context=BCM400

Changing the URI and blanking it just ends up removing the BCM400 text and nothing else. Is there a way to prevent the BCM400 sending ';phone-context=' as part of the SIP packets.

Re: SIP Gateway issue

SIP on the BCM is currently only supported to other Nortel PBXs such as CS1K etc

There is some limite support (is increasing) to SIP enpoints/CO lines

Thanks
