CS1000M 4.5 MG Pentium II Database Migration CS1000E 5.5 CPPM

Hi,

 

When Attempting to migrate a CS1000M 4.5 Option 81C Pentium II to CS1000E 5.5 CPPM am having the failure listed below.

I opened a CSR with GNTS and the came back with a statment saying that, On both the TDM & IP System details for "New Systems and Upgrades" it does not list the Option 81C CP-PII being supported to the CP-PM, therefore you need to treat it as a fresh install and build the database from scratch.

 

Has anyone managed to this this migration? Any help is greatly appreaciated.

Hi,

unfortunately there is no migration path from 1000M systems to 1000E.

Only Small Systems can be converted by install tool.
